The Squier Affinity Stratocaster Mustang Micro Pack kits eager learners out with a classic electric guitar and all of the essentials needed for a flying start. Unlike most starter packs, however, this bundle includes a Fender Mustang Micro headphone practice amplifier instead of a traditional combo amp. This way, you can get to grips with things in private, so without bothering your house mates.
The Affinity Stratocaster: Flexible Sound
The Squier Affinity Stratocaster is an excellent guitar for beginners. The poplar body is manageable and lightweight, and has been loaded with three passive single-coil pickups that give way to a wide range of sounds. Besides the guitar and headphone amp, you get a sturdy gig bag, a pair of PreSonus HD9 headphones, a Fender guitar strap, a set of plectrums, and a 3-month subscription to Fender Play, which provides access to helpful lessons and more.
The Mustang Micro: A Handy Little Amp
The Fender Mustang Micro headphone guitar amplifier plugs directly into the guitar and comes loaded with twelve GTX Series amplifier models, EQ controls and various effects, including reverb, delay and modulation. As small as it may be, it's surprisingly versatile.
Easy to Use
The biggest advantage of the Fender Mustang Micro is the fact that it lets you play your electric guitar in silence. Whether you're at home or jamming at the park, the built-in Bluetooth receiver allows you to play along to your favourite tracks, while the internal battery grants up to four hours of play time before it needs to be recharged.
HD9 Headphones
The included PreSonus HD9 headphones have an over-ear design and feature 45mm Neodymium drivers for full-bodied sound. Fitted with a three-metre-long mini-jack cable, these comfy closed headphones allow you to focus on what you're doing and come complete with a jack adapter so they can be plugged into various different bits of kit.
